Being a mom is truly a 24/7 job. I have don’t have a ton of downtime, especially with an adventurous and spunky 5-year-old daughter. Our weekday mornings are just as busy. I’m running around trying to get us both dressed for the day, packing lunches and preparing breakfast. It’s quite a lot and leaves little time for me to actually do a full face of makeup. So, I don’t. Instead, I have a quick 10 minute everyday makeup routine that makes me look refreshed and cute for work. I’m a minimalist at heart, so my routine is simple, which I love. If you are a mommy like me, or just don’t have enough time in the morning to dedicate to applying a full face, then check out my fast routine below.
To achieve my everyday look I use 7 key products; eyebrow powder, eyeliner, eyeshadow, concealer, highlighter, lip gloss and setting powder.
STEPS
First, after washing my face, I add L.A. Girl Pro concealer under my eyes and on my eyelids. It works as an awesome eyeshadow base substitute. I like to let my concealer set for a few minutes while I move on to the next step.
Next, I use Eyebrowz eyebrow powder to shape my brows and fill in the bare spots where my hair just won’t grow right.
Sidenote: Once I’ve completed my brows, I blend my concealer in all the way.
Then I apply eyeshadow and eyeliner. My go-to palette is e.l.f Little Black Book warm edition, but pick whichever palette you’d like.
Once that is done, I add a touch of NYX Born to Glow highlighter down my nose and on my cheekbones to give my face extra sparkle.
Finally, I finish off my look by applying L.A. Girl HD Pro setting powder to my face and clear gloss to my lips. Viola!
